The Zero Point Rite (2026) : 1x4

After some back and forth small talk, Simon begins his account of Lab Leak to help explain what he knows of Vane and his powers. Abruptly, the episode shifts from present day, to a flashback from the POV of Simon. We see the lab. His wife. The military project's purpose laid bare. A seventeen-year-old Vane waking from a medication error, calm at first, asking simply: "What am I?" Then the blueprints. Then the files proving sixteen weavers were slaughtered to create him, with more kept in the same wing for further testing, though Vane doesn’t know that part. The cold rage that follows is not explosive. It is quiet, total, and absolute. Simon watches from behind glass as the lab comes apart, and his wife disintegrates only meters away. The flashback ends as Vane hovers silently over the wreckage in the pre-dawn dark, before he folds space and vanishes. 12 of 217 survived. The 4 kids listen through the vent in complete silence and shock.
